What happens during the 7-day trial?
You get full access to every feature on your chosen tier. No credit card required for Free. Paid tiers require a card but won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime.
How does the multi-AI pipeline work?
Each scoring task uses a specialized AI model. Claude handles sentiment (it understands financial nuance), Gemini Flash interprets quant metrics (fast math reasoning), and DeepSeek cross-checks for risk (cheap but powerful). They work in sequence — sentiment → quant analysis → risk check — and the final signal reflects all three.
What is OpenRouter?
OpenRouter is a unified API that gives you access to 500+ AI models (GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Llama, and more) through one key. Pro and Trader tiers route through OpenRouter by default. You can also swap models per role in Settings.
Can I choose which AI models to use?
Yes — Pro and Trader tiers let you assign any model to any scoring role via Settings. Want GPT for sentiment and Claude for risk? You can configure that. Starter tier uses Claude Haiku and isn't configurable.
Can I use my own API keys?
Yes — Pro and Trader tiers let you bring your own OpenRouter, Anthropic, Finnhub, and Alpha Vantage keys via Settings. Bring-your-own-key users get AI scoring at their own API cost.
Is my Alpaca account safe?
Sintinel connects to your Alpaca account for market data and trade execution. Paper and live trading are both supported. Your API keys are encrypted and stored per-account with row-level security.
How accurate is the sentiment scoring?
Keyword-based scoring (Free tier) achieves ~65% directional accuracy. Claude AI scoring (paid tiers) achieves ~78%+ on financial text benchmarks. The accuracy tracking dashboard shows real performance data as your signals accumulate.
